City of Abilene Texas wants to stop trucks from parking even
on your own private property.
They want their goods but not truckers, When are city's going to realize
that we do more
than bring them goods they need to survive , we are an extra pair of eyes for
the law enforcement. it has been known many times that trucks has gotten drunk
drivers off the road, and have saved many lives of people in wrecked cars, and
people being robbed,
So are we all that bad?
Any company that has employees has good and bad employees, Have you ever been to
a construction site lately, what about vandalism, So I guess we are not all
perfect, but if we just try to come up with a plan that will work, that every
body can live with,
Their is one thing I can't figure out is how can someone judge or make rules or
laws if they have not ridden or driven a big rig,
Maybe it's time they did then they would have the real picture of how the
truckin industry really works. how can they judge us if they haven't driven the
miles or as the saying goes, walked a mile in my shoes??.
How can we make a change?
Or help clean up some of the industry's bad habits.
I would like to hear what other drives & people have in mind,
Before we get to involved lets get to the point here. I'm not saying lets shut
down but if we can get a big new organized group in place,
then we can have our voice heard.
So let's build a better and stronger organized group?,
That won't sell out, cause we are all O/O and company drivers that's here to
stay!
We have got to stand up for our future drivers and our own kids rights.
My self I'm tired of my rights being taken away from me and being treated
like dirt.
Besides do they realize that if there were no trucks they would not get
any food, clothes, houses, cars, etc,????
Come on they can't be that dumb or out right ignorant can they?
This is my opinion and it's my opinion only it's a money thing. they see
big rig trucks as money targets, they know that a driver lives many miles away
and won't come back to fight a fine, so it's easer to pay the fine than to take
time off from work and travel back to the city.
It's time we took a stand and say enough is enough!
Join No Trucks. ORG and let's stand up for our rights,
No Trucks.Org is not going to be that puppet on a string.
Are you willing to stand up for your rights???
JOIN US IN THE FIGHT FOR YOUR RIGHTS!!!!
It's not just Abilene TX, and Marrow GA,
Other city's are starting to add the No Truck Parking city Ordinance too,
Its time to stand up now, Rest area's are all full now, some states are going to
no over night parking, truck stops are full before night,
Where are we going to park?
If we can't park our trucks at home in a safe area away from terrorist &
thieves,
where we can watch over them,? Where can we park them?
According to the city Marrow GA, and Abilene TX, they want us to park them some
where else so they would be easy targets for terrorist. and would be thieves?
Would they be willing to park there own TRUCK'S IN AN UNSAFE PLACE?
The way is see it, If they can drive their garbage truck's that weighs more than
our empty semi truck does, Why can't we drive and park our own truck's at
home and park them on our own private property where they would be safe?
"NO"
They would rather for us to park our trucks in an unsafe place so a possible
terrorist could easily load up a load of explosive and drive it into a building
killing hundreds of incant people. Then they wonder how did they get that truck,
"Well Hello"
If that truck could of been parked at my home where i could have keep an eye on
it those people mite still be alive today?
Folk's lets get real here? I know i don't want to have to fill out an report on
this one day, nor read about it in my local news paper either. beside it could
be your very own child that is working in that building, wake up people and read
the facts. help us help you.
after all a big truck isn't that bad, just sitting there is it. Nor is it
causing you any sleep lost, What if one day you needed that truck owners help?
Your house could be on fire? or just happen to drive up on you in a wreck. and
pull you out of a burning car?
it would be bad if that drive is the one you have been complaining so much
about, but your looking right into his eyes asking for his help? he could easily
just walk away and say no? or he could pull you to safety???
We all put up with issues, all the time like construction
work, jack hammers, heavy equipment,
But It's all needed to make our roads better, safer, and to build bigger
buildings for our town growth, people still complain, Well move to the country
is what I say!!
Yea i can see some people's point of view about trucks,
Let me tell you a little bit about a trucker.
1. They miss many Christmas's.
2. They missed there kids first step's and words.
3. Gone away from home family many weeks at a time.
4. driven all night and many miles.
5. Sitting behind the wheel of a big rig 90% of the
time.
6. sleeping in the bunk of a truck that's just
enough room to lay down.
7. Sleeping at a truck stop listening to the motors of
other trucks running all night.
This list could go on!
Let me say this, Who would like
ride with me for 30days?
And go to New York, Chicago I'LL,
If we can drive in and out of them places with out any trouble.
well we had a lucky day. I have had thieves jump up on my truck and try to rob
me going down the road, and you better not stop at a red light, I know off hand
that a driver was needing directions to a place to deliver and some thieves
guided him right into their lot they shot and robed the driver, You hardly hear
about the bad run-ins that truckers have, or got robed while trying to get to
where they needed to unload or load??
But if your neighbor's house got robed I bet it's in the paper the next day.
Wonder Why That Is?
And not about the trucker that got shot and robbed?
When you get back home I bet you will see things a little different?.
After all it's us that keeps your food in the stores, and on your table.
